6th Meeting and Seminar of the Research Unity Libraries Network

INPE’s Library took part in the 6th Meeting and Seminar of the Research Unity Libraries Network (RBP) of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (RBP-MCTI), which promoted, on days 4th, 5th and 6th of December, 2024, in Petrópolis (RJ), a meeting for the strengthening of the Network and the access to scientific information in the country.

The event gathered information professional and researchers from different areas, with the purpose to discuss the advances and the challenges faced by specialized libraries of the MCTI.

On December 4th and 4th, the 6th Meeting and Seminar of the Research Unity Libraries of MCTI discussed the integration of digital technologies and the collaboration strategies among libraries and research unities, aiming the optimization of process and the continuous improvement of the scientific information service.

On December 6th, the Seminar of the Research Unity Libraries took place with the theme “Documents Preservation and Data Protection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”, which counted with a series of lectures that approached since new libraries management methodologies until the latest tendencies on digital preservation and open access to scientific information.
