Templates
To assist in the formatting of internal documents developed by INPE authors, the Library offers the following styles for publication:
Style for MSWord 2010: Template Word 2010
You should keep this file as a template. You can replace the original text with your own content while retaining the existing structure that follows INPE formatting guidelines. Then, save your file as ".doc" (if you are using MS Word 2003) or ".docx" (if you are using MS Word 2007).
Style in LaTeX
To write your thesis or dissertation in LaTeX, follow these steps:
1. Install the programs for compiling LaTeX:
- if you use Windows, follow the instructions for creating the LaTeX environment in Windows;
- if you use Linux, follow the instructions for creating the LaTeX environment on LINUX;
2. download the style by downloading the archive.zip;
3. create a folder on your computer where your thesis or dissertation will be saved, for example, you can named it "thesis";
4. extract the contents of the archive.zip file into this folder;
5. edit the necessary files with your text;
6. compile your thesis or dissertation (the file publicacao.pdf will be updated);

Note: You must register on the platform before using it for compilation.

If you have made any improvements to the publication style (tdiinpe.dot file), please send your version to pubtc@inpe.br along with a brief description of the changes you have made and your full name. The Library staff will review and test your version, and if approved, it will be made available on this site with the proper credits in the acknowledgments section of the Manual.
