Collection and self-archiving
INPE students, fellows, trainees, and staff who have published academic works and maintain an up-to-date Lattes curriculum by June and December of each year are eligible to have their publications automatically included in the INPE’s Digital Library (http://bibdigital.sid.inpe.br). The importation is carried out through the Lattes Platform and sorted into different document categories.
- Articles Published in Journals
- Papers in Events
- Book Chapters
- Books
For this purpose, when filling out a reference in your Lattes Resumé, carefully check the following items:
- Reference Type (differentiate correctly between works in events and book chapters);
- Inform the correct name of the event, without abbreviations and according to ABNT standards (for example: Brazilian Symphosium on Remote Sensing, 18 (SBSR). Also inform the title of the proceedings (if any), as well as the respective ISBN/ISSN;
- Authorship Order (check if it matches what is in the published paper);
- Name of the Authors (whenever possible, fill in the full name of the authors, particularly those from INPE);
- DOI (if any, its completion is essential).
IMPORTANT: To enable the import of the Lattes Platform, it is essential that the author has registered the INPE as a professional address in his Lattes Resume. To do this, access the curriculum, click on "General Data " Address " Professional " Institution/Company", and check if the option "National Institute for Space Research" is there. If INPE is not registered, you must include it so that the references of your curriculum can be imported to the Digital Library.
After importing the references, it is also necessary to include the full texts of the respective publications in the Digital Library, which allows the consolidation of the INPE's Management Indicators. In this sense, DIBIB requests the submission of the final version of the peer-reviewed paper before publication (final draft), or the PDF version publishedby the publisher, depending on the editorial policy. The deposit of the full text is one more guarantee of the preservation of the work and one more option for open access to .
Besides contributing to the diffusion and preservation of knowledge, the collection of the institutional scientific production is fundamental for the creation of INPE's Reports and Indicators of Scientific Production. Such reports and indicators are essential instruments for defining actions and obtaining resources from MCTI, AEB and development agencies.
Your collaboration is essential to the Institution!
