Launch of "Brazil and ASEAN: Partners for Peace and Development"

In the context of the recently inaugurated Sectoral Dialogue Partnership between ASEAN and Brazil, the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) has just launched the work "Brazil and ASEAN: Partners for Peace and Development." The volume is prefaced by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Ambassador Mauro Vieira, and features a text by the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Kao Kim Hourn. Additionally, it gathers contributions from scholars and experts, both Brazilian and from Asian countries. Analyzing a wide range of topics, such as economy, industrialization, diplomatic strategies, agriculture, environmental issues, and energy transition, the book not only presents the current panorama of relations between our country and the Association but also indicates the great potential to be explored and the direction to be followed in the coming years.
