FUNAG publishes a new edition of Reminiscences of the Baron of Rio Branco by his son, Ambassador Raul of Rio Branco

The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation publishes a new edition of the book Reminiscências do Barão do Rio Branco por seu filho, o Embaixador Raul do Rio Branco [Reminiscences of the Baron of Rio Branco by his son, Ambassador Raul of Rio Branco], originally published in 1942. Presented by Ambassador Luís Cláudio Villafañe G. Santos, the work is organized in 39 chapters with comments by Raul do Rio Branco about his father. The book is a unique testimony of the life, work, feelings and intimate thoughts of the future patron of Brazilian diplomacy.

The accounts of negotiations and political decisions bring additional elements and anecdotes to detail and contextualize what is known about the statesman's decisions and strategies.
