FUNAG launches book in honor of Gelson Fonseca Junior

The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation has launched the book O Brasil e o Mundo: estudos sobre o pensamento de Gelson Fonseca Junior [Brazil and the World: Studies on the Thought of Gelson Fonseca Junior], organized by diplomats Benoni Belli and Eduardo Uziel.

Ambassador Gelson Fonseca Junior presided over FUNAG between 1992 and 1995. During that period, the Barão do Rio Branco Center for History and Diplomatic Documentation (CBRB) was created. Known today as Center of Diplomatic History and Documentation (CHDD), it consolidated the Foundation as a reference for the study of international relations in Brazil.
