INTERNATIONAL CRISES ANALYSIS COURSE (CACI)
Objective
To develop interpretative competences to deepen the understanding of a contemporary international political reality, with emphasis on the field of International Security, providing theoretical and conceptual apparatus of a holistic nature. The course is tailored for specialists who will work with the analysis of international crises.
Audience
a) civilians appointed by invited institutions, state-run or private, national or of friendly nations;
b) senior officers of the Armed or Auxiliary Forces; and
c) senior officers of friendly nations.
Course Organization
CACI is carried out in the hybrid modality. Two weeks are remote learning and three are in-person, with classes from Monday through Friday (from 9:00am to 1:00pm).
The course lasts 5 weeks and the course load is of 100 hrs/year.
CACI 2025 will be held from June 9 to July 11.
Throughout the course, the students will have the following subjects: Fundamentals of International Relations; International Crises Analysis Models; Geopolitics; and Applied Studies.
