Government accounts have record surplus in July

Government accounts had a surplus of R$ 19.3 billion in July, the second largest in the National Treasury's historical series, which begins in 1997.

The result was released on Tuesday (30) and indicates that government revenues exceeded its expenses. The balance for the year has a positive balance of R$ 73.1 billion up to July.
