Brazil selected to host the 15th Clean Energy Ministerial, in 2024
Brazil was unanimously chosen to host, in 2024, the 15th Clean Energy Ministerial, CEM, and the 9th Ministerial Meeting on Mission Innovation (MI) - acknowledging the country’s clean energy matrix and leadership in the area.
Brazil will also hold the presidency of G20 in 2024, when it plans to advance CEM and MI multilateral platforms in large scale projects to bring together developing and developed countries, international organizations and companies to accelerate the transition to clean energy.
Brazil, a founding member of these platforms, co-leads high-profile initiatives at CEM, such as the modernization of electrical systems and the Platform for Biofuture - a multilateral project for expanding the use of bioenergy and promoting a sustainable bioeconomy worldwide.
