The Brazilian government reformed its legislation on Foreign Exchange and International Capital, making life easier for people, companies, importers, exporters and all those who operate with foreign currency, removing excess bureaucracy and adopting the most modern practices.
Among the changes, there is the recognition of the exchange operation as an operation of the financial system, the purchase and sale of foreign currency between people and the authorization of transfers in Brazilian currency outside the country.
Brazilian banks will also be able to finance exports from abroad, the inflow of money will be facilitated and exporters will be able to lend foreign funds to subsidiaries outside the country.
