The Brazilian government fights incessantly against criminal organizations across the country, reaching record numbers of decapitalization and efficient repression of organized crime by integrated actions of management and intelligence by law enforcement.
Since 2019, through the National Security and Borders Program, a shocking amount of 27,6 tons of cocaine has been seized; 18 tons of which in 2021 alone, an increase of 800% compared to the previous year. In all, more than 560 tons of drugs were confiscated in 2021.
