Ministry of Communications holds event on connectivity in the Amazon

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is in Brazil to meet President Bolsonaro and other officials from the Brazilian Government to discuss innovation, green economy, connectivity and the use of technology in the protection of the Amazon and development of Brazilian economic potential.

The expectation is to partner with Starlink to connect 19,000 schools in rural areas and to expand the Amazon environmental surveillance satellite network.
