"Green and Yellow House" Program: 1.2 million houses delivered

The Brazilian government through the modernization of legislation created the Casa Verde e Amarela Program to promote the right of families to decent housing in urban and rural areas. The name of the program means “Green and Yellow House”, colors of our national flag.

The Program made more than 1.2 million viable homes, benefiting almost 5 million people in Brazil; 384,000 units were given to socially vulnerable families reaching around 1.5 million people.

The program also guarantees the Social Rental, which aims to offer housing units for rent to families that commit more than 30% of their income to pay the rent of the house where they live.
