Brazilian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team stands out at the Pan-American Games

In the Pan-American Championship in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian rhythmic gymnastics team won the group all-around gold for the second year in a row. Duda Arakaki, Deborah Medrado, Nicole Pircio, Giovanna Oliveira and Bárbara Galvão, left the USA in 3rd and Mexico in 2nd places.

Brazil still won silver in the all-around, with Geovanna Santos (singles champion in ribbon and clubs), and silver in the team contest. The results granted the maximum number of places for Brazil in the next World Championships in Sofia, the first pre-Olympic event.
