Brazil is planting 100 million trees to restore rivers

To ensure water security and enhance the quality of life, the Brazilian Waters Program is guaranteeing the planting of 100 million trees to preserve rivers and springs, recover degraded areas and maintain Permanent Preservation Areas, through partnerships with private initiative.
Water is the essential element for the survival and well-being of the population, for creating the conditions for socioeconomic development and for being the key element for the production of food, products and services and for the generation of energy.
