Brazil creates procedures for the rehabilitation of patients with post-Covid-19 sequelae

The Brazilian government created post-covid procedures to assist people who need treatment for rehabilitation due to the sequelae caused by the disease.

Among the guidelines adopted by the public Unified Health System - the SUS - are the monthly attendance to the necessary actions for patients' rehabilitation who present functional, nutritional, neurological, musculoskeletal, or sensorial alterations.

The procedures include speech therapy and cardiorespiratory, visual, intellectual, physical and auditory rehabilitation.
