Brazil and France have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote cooperation in sustainable development in urban areas, studying solutions for smart, resilient cities, sanitation, waste management, urban drainage, low-carbon urban mobility, water resources and housing.
The parties aim to foster bilateral cooperation by modeling new projects to attract international investments through public-private partnerships. They also intend to work on training, production of reference materials, dissemination and exchange of knowledge and best practices.
