Brazil achieves lowest homicide rate in 15 years

Brazil is getting safer every day. Today, we have the lowest homicide rate in 15 years; more than 20,000 lives have been saved.

The number of bank robberies also dropped by 36% in 2021. Federal law enforcement agencies also recorded drug seizure records, in addition to the historic BRL100 billion mark in damages to organized crime.

Homicides of indigenous people, agrarian reform settlers and quilombolas also dropped, reaching the lowest average of deaths and agrarian conflicts in our country.
