G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group Side Event

The event, held alongside the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group meetings, will take place on October 21, 2024, in Natal, RN, and will focus on promoting integrity and combating corruption, emphasizing how these topics are fundamental to building a more just world and a sustainable planet. The event will contribute to the global debate by offering an integrated and broader perspective on integrity and anti-corruption, reflecting on how to safeguard public interest in the formulation and implementation of policies and the provision of quality public services. Integrity strengthens governance systems and directly contributes to social justice and a sustainable environment, while corruption undermines them. 

In this context, the event will bring together experts, global leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss strategies, share experiences, and build a collaborative agenda that contributes to reducing inequalities, strengthening governance, and creating more inclusive and sustainable societies. 

The event will be open to the attending international delegations, government representatives, civil society, experts, and other interested parties. However, registration will be limited due to the venue's capacity.
