Purpose
Manage the institutional innovation policy in accordance with the provisions of the Innovation Law (Law No. 13,243, of January 11, 2016) and the CNEN normative instructions that internally regulate the relationship with support foundations and companies.
Basic attributions
- Exercise, within the scope of the CDTN, the powers contained in Art. 16 – Paragraph 1 – of Law 10,973/2004;
- Support the management of the innovation policy, as well as other purposes associated with the management of technological innovations developed at the CDTN and their transfer to the market;
- Develop technological prospecting and competitive intelligence studies in the field of intellectual property, in order to guide the CDTN's innovation actions;
- Develop studies and strategies for the transfer of innovation generated by the CDTN;
- Execute actions to protect intellectual property;
- Promote and monitor the CDTN's relationship with companies; and
- Negotiate and manage technology transfer agreements proposed by the CDTN.
