Pesquisador espanhol faz ciclo de palestras no CBPF
O pesquisador Dr. José Miguel García-Martín, do Conselho Nacional de Investigação Espanhol (CSIC), e atualmente trabalhando no Instituto de Micro e Nanotecnologia (Espanha) realiza um ciclo de palestras no Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (CBPF).
O evento acontece de forma presencial e gratuito nos dias 13, 14 e 15/05 (segunda, terça e quarta-feira) de 10h as 12h, no auditório do 2° andar.
Em cada dia será apresentado um tema. No primeiro, o título da palestra é: “Fabrication of Nanostructures by Physical Eco-friendly Techniques and Applications in Energy and Aerospace”; no segundo encontro, “Nanomaterials for Biomedicine” e no último dia, “Technology Transfer: Patents and Spin-offs. The Story of Nanostine”.
Sobre o palestrante
Dr. José Miguel García-Martín is Research Scientist of the Spanish National Research Council, CSIC, working at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology (Madrid, Spain). His research work focuses on metallic and metal oxides nanostructures with applications in ICT, energy and biomedicine. He obtained his PhD in Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) and he was a Marie Curie postdoc at Université Paris-Saclay (France). In 2017 he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University (Boston, USA). In 2020 he co-founded the spin-off Nanostine. He is member of the Advisory Committee of IEEE Magnetics Society and of the Council of Advisors of the Nanotechnology Engineer Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico).
