In Davos, CADE is recognized as one of the most efficient antitrust authorities in the world

“It is an extremely efficient agency” and “one of the most efficient antitrust authorities that we have seen in the world”. This was the comment of the President of the company Henry Schein Inc. - the American company of dental equipment that has recently acquired a Brazilian competitor company -, Stanley Bergman about the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, the Brazilian antitrust authority, according to the article published by the newspaper Valor Econômico, on  19 January 2017.

The recognition occurred during the meeting, on 18 January 2017, between the Brazilian government and potential investors, in the World Economic Forum in the city of Davos.

The annual meeting gathers leaders of the world economy, such as entrepreneurs, Ministers of Finance, Presidents of National Central Banks, Directors of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and international organizations to discuss matters of global concerning.
