Cade is awarded the Agency of the Year in the Americas
The Administrative Council for Economic Defense - CADE was praised this Tuesday, April 10, by two important international awards. The Global Competition Review (GCR), British publication specialized in competition, considered CADE the 2017 Agency of the Year in the Americas, in an event known as the "Competition Oscars".
In its turn, CADE’s Dawn Raid guidance document was awarded as the Best Soft Law at the Antitrust Writing Awards 2018, another traditional award - promoted by Concurrences, an important peer-reviewed Journal in competition. Last year, CADE’s Guidelines on Cease and Desist Agreement guide won the award in the same category.
The awards' results were made public in Washington, DC, a day before the beginning of the ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting.
"The awarded prizes are the recognition of the antitrust community of the excellent work that Cade has been developing. I wish to congratulate the agency’s technical staff for this achievement", said CADE’s president, Alexandre Barreto.
This is the fourth time that CADE is awarded as the Agency of the Year in the Americas by GCR. The agency also conquered this category by its performed work in the years of 2010, 2014 and 2016.
