Anvisa’s systems and the Internet Explorer: check the changes
With Microsoft’s decision to discontinue the Internet Explorer (IE), Anvisa recommends using the Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge. This functionality will allow access to the Anvisa's systems that still require the use of the old browser, such as the Notivisa and registration systems.
More up-to-date systems, such as the Solicita, the Sammed, and the Siptox are compatible with current browsers and, therefore, do not require the use of the Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge. Those systems can be accessed from other browsers, such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Microsoft has announced that the Internet Explorer will be discontinued, meaning it will no longer be updated and will have no more support in June. The IE will be replaced by the Microsoft Edge, which is now the only browser with updates supported by Microsoft. However, some components and functionalities of important Anvisa systems still depend on the Internet Explorer to work correctly.
