ANPD holds webinar on its Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection Regulatory Sandbox
On November 20th, the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD) will hold a webinar on its Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection Regulatory Sandbox. The main goal is to answer questions about the pilot project and its objectives.
The webinar will start at 10.30am (BRT). The event, which is free and open to the public, is going to be virtually streamed on the Authority's YouTube channel. The floor will be open to questions and comments from the audience. No registration is required to participate in the online event.
The program will include presentations by representatives from various sectors. The following are confirmed: Armando Guío, Coordinator of the Network of Centers, Arild Opheim, Senior Communication Advisor at Datatilsynet, Professor Urs Gasser, of the Technical University of Munich – TUM, Professor Manail Anis, of Princeton University, and Lorrayne Porciuncula, Executive Director of the Datasphere Initiative. The guests will present different perspectives on the project, ensuring a democratic and inclusive debate.
ANPD staff will also be included in the program. The Webinar is going to feature an institutional address by the ANPD’s Director, Arthur Sabbat, and a technical presentation by the Technology and Research Unit.
