Technical Data Package
The technical data package is a collection of public technical data selected by ANP for the Open Acreage under the production share regime, consisting of a regional dataset, including seismic lines and data from wells selected at the discretion of the ANP.
Payment of access fees to the technical data package is optional, is not linked to registration, nor does it oblige or restrict bidders' bids in the public bid submission session.
Access and withdrawal of Technical Data Package
The technical data package shall be forwarded to business corporations which follow the steps as the Tender Protocol brings: (i) fulfillment of electronic submission form;
(ii) receipt of payment of participation and access to the technical package of the sectors of interest fee; (iii)submit the document showing the sectors that were paid for to access the technical data – IV Annex and (iv) present the confidentiality agreement referring to the data that are part of the technical data package.
In case of confidentiality agreement to be executed by the same legal representative of business corporation who has signed the Terms of Service of the Exploration and Production Database (BDEP), in line with ANP Resolution 889/2022 or by supervening norm, it should not be necessary to scrutinize the signatory powers to remove the data package, provided that:
a) The business corporation that signed the BDEP Terms of Service is the same that is participating in the Open Acreage under production sharing Process;
b) The Terms of Service to remain up to date and valid.
Procedures for withdrawing the Technical Data Package
ATTENTION: Temporarily, access to the Technical Data Package through remote access to the E-bid system is unavailable. Therefore, collection of the Technical Data Package can only be carried out in person at ANP/Urca, located at Av. Pasteur, nº 404, blocks A4, Urca, Rio de Janeiro - RJ.
The company must request the in-person collection of the Technical Data Package via e-mail rodadas@anp.gov.br.
After the request, instructions will be sent for scheduling in-person pickup.
After scheduling, the company must deliver directly to the Exploration and Production Database (BDEP) a new external hard drive (HD), in sealed packaging, with a minimum storage capacity of 1 TB, for recording technical data. Next, the responsible team will record the HD and schedule the date for removing the HD with the recording.
Technical data packages may be collected:
a) By appointed representative;
b) By legal representative of business corporation entitled to Terms of Service BDEP;
c) A person appointed by entitled representative or legal representative of the BDEP of Term of Service. The name, the identification and the position of the authorized person shall be included in Annex IV of the tender protocol.
