Notice:
According to Board Resolution No. 754/2023, the Tender Protocol of Open Acreage of Concession (OPC) and the Tender Protocol of Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP) are revoked. We highlight that the present revocation of the tender protocols only affects future cycles, and does not affect the schedule and the next stages of the 4th Cycle of the Open Acreage of Concession and the 2nd Cycle of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing, including the qualification of bidders winners, the award and approval of the result and the signing of contracts.
Open Acreage consists of the continuous offer of exploratory blocks and areas located in any land or sea basins, as well as bidding for fields that have been returned or in the process of being returned, with the ANP being able to conduct permanent offers of these fields and blocks. Blocks in the pre-salt area or in strategic areas were reserved for specific deliberation by the CNPE, defining the parameters to be adopted for each field or block to be tendered.
As it is a continuous process, its bidding instruments (public notice and contract drafts) may change over time. These alterations may occur as a result of inclusions, exclusions and adaptations of blocks available on offer, as well as improvements in the tender protocol rules and sharing contract models.
