Airworthiness and Safety Agreements aim to promote cooperation between civil aviation authorities to stablish recognition, harmonization and mutual approval procedures, such as those relating to airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, crew training and other subjects related to safety and flight standards.
These agreements foster greater confidence between the Parties and reduce the economic burden imposed on the aviation industry and operators by redundant technical inspections, evaluations and tests.
