Largest general aviation trade show in Latin America marks the sector’s recovery
On August 9, began one of the largest aviation events in the world: the Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (Labace 2022). In its 17th edition, the opening ceremony was attended by the director-president of ANAC, Juliano Noman, the directors of the Agency, Ricardo Catanant, Luiz Ricardo Nascimento and Rogério Benevides, as well as authorities from Infraero, the Air Force and the ministries of Infrastructure and Tourism. Held at Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo (SP), the fair went on until August 11th.
During the event's opening ceremony, the advances achieved by the Voo Simples Law and the future of Brazilian and international aviation were highlighted in the authorities' speeches. The director-president of ANAC, Juliano Noman, pointed out that the unity and resilience of the sector, during the pandemic, provided significant lessons, bringing a contribution of aviation both to face the covid-19, especially with the transport of medicines, vaccines and doctors, as for important regulatory developments for the resumption of the sector.

The focus of the largest business aviation fair in Latin America, after two years cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic, is the strengthening of the aviation industry, with emphasis on the exchange of experiences and resumption of direct contact between the agents of the sector, in addition to the exhibition of the most diverse news and new technologies marking the recovery of the global aviation sector.
The participants of the event will be able to visit the ANAC booth and get to know the news from the Agency for the sector. The space has the support of technicians to provide general assistance to the public, especially on issues related to licenses and qualifications. Thematic talks will also be scheduled to clarify regulations.
