About the event
This is the first time the event is organized by the Brazilian civil aviation authority. The workshop is a forum for manufacturers, installers and operators of TSO articles as well as the regulatory authorities to present and discuss policy and technical initiatives and issues related to approvals, installation and operation of TSO articles.
Held since 2004, the TSO workshop has already been organized and hosted by the main civil aviation regulatory agencies in the world, including Europe's European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States; and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) of Canada. In 2020, the event organized by the TCCA was held through a virtual format for the first time due to restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, it will also be virtual due to the permanence of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
