BILATERAL AGREEMENTS
ANAC and AAC, from UK, sign working agreement
The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) of the United Kingdom signed a Working Agreement for Continuity of Validation Projects on Friday July 16. The document came into effect on the day it was signed.
With the agreement, ANAC and AAC establish the procedures to be followed in cases of acceptance processes for airworthiness approvals and tests for validation of aeronautical products already started before the formalization of the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union (Brexit) and which have not yet been completed.
Prior to Brexit, the competent authority for aeronautical product certification issues in the UK was the European authority, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The Working Agreement is available on the International Agreements page of ANAC's Superintendence of Airworthiness.
