Market access in Morocco for Brazilian olive oil exports
Market access in Morocco for Brazilian olive oil exports
The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that Morocco has authorized the import of Brazilian olive oil.
In 2023, Morocco was the third-largest destination for Brazilian agricultural exports in Africa, with a total value of USD 1.23 billion. From January to September 2024, exports to Morocco exceeded USD 903 million.
This new market access follows the authorization granted in September for the export of dried distiller's grains (DDG or DDGS) from Brazil to Morocco.
With this new authorization, Brazilian agribusiness has reached its 193rd market access of the year, totaling 271 opportunities across 61 destinations since the beginning of 2023.
These achievements are the result of collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
