The Brazilian government has welcomed recent approvals for the import of various agricultural products. These approvals not only expand the global presence of the product but also reinforce Brazil's position as a leading supplier of mate herb.
Brazilian cassava meal has gained export approval in Australia, Peru, the United Kingdom, Angola, Mexico, and South Korea, expanding the reach of this staple into key international markets.
Additionally, the export of dehydrated citrus pulp has been authorized for Australia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Angola, and South Korea, further strengthening Brazil's leadership in the citrus sector.
The export of hay (alfalfa and timothy) has also been approved for Peru, Angola, and South Korea, with processed hay now approved for the United Kingdom. This creates new opportunities in the animal feed sector while diversifying export destinations.
Furthermore, dried clove flowers and coconut fiber have been approved for export to Peru, broadening the variety of Brazilian agricultural products entering that market.
With these 20 new authorizations, Brazilian agribusiness has reached its 158th market access in 2024, bringing the total to 236 new opportunities since the start of 2023, highlighting Brazil's growing prominence in global agricultural trade.
These achievements are the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
