Brazil has obtained sanitary approval to export pork to Bhutan
The Bhutanese government has notified Brazil of the approval for the export of Brazilian pork to Bhutan, complementing the recent market access for poultry meat. In 2023, Bhutan imported over $3.33 million worth of Brazilian agribusiness products, nearly doubling the previous year's imports of $1.75 million.
This achievement brings Brazilian agribusiness's total market access to 120 in 50 countries this year, thanks to coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
