Brazil celebrates four market accesses in Cuba
The Brazilian government has received authorization from the Cuban government to export the following products to Cuba: eggs and egg products, wild-caught fish and their derivatives, gelatin and collagen, and farmed fish and their derivatives.
These four new market accesses are expected to boost trade between the two countries. Last year, Brazil's agricultural exports to Cuba surpassed USD 195 million.
With this announcement, Brazil has achieved its 82nd market access in 2024, bringing the total to 160 accesses in 54 countries since the beginning of 2023.
These achievements are the result of coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
