General Coordination for Multilateral Technical Cooperation Received from Abroad (CGCMULT)
Every day, the General Coordination for Multilateral Technical Cooperation Received from Abroad (CGCMULT) interacts with more than a hundred Brazilian institutions, at the three levels of the federation, to devise the most efficient and effective use of technical cooperation with international organizations.
The activities carried out by the CGCMULT include: providing guidance to national institutions on the normative and technical guidelines applicable to technical cooperation with more than 25 international bodies and organizations of a public nature; providing information on technical cooperation opportunities with international organizations to national institutions; receiving, registering, analyzing and negotiating proposals for technical cooperation projects with international organizations; coordinating the negotiation, approval and overseeing the implementation and financial execution of technical cooperation projects with international organizations; holding regular coordination meetings with international organizations; facilitating the compilation of data and information on international cooperation in Brazil for the drawing up of international reports; and preparing analyses and subsidies for the participation of Brazil in meetings organized by international organizations on the topic of international cooperation for development.
